You are cordially invited to the activities of UNESCO at the World Water Week 2022, which will take place in Stockholm, Sweden, 23 August – 1 September 2022.

Please, read the Agenda presenting the UNESCO Intergovernmental Hydrological Programme’s (IHP) participation in the World Water Week 2022.

World Water Week is the leading annual event on global water issues, organized by Stockholm International Water Institute (SIWI) since 1991. Together with organizations from all sectors and all regions of the world, SIWI seeks solutions to the world’s greatest water-related challenges. In 2022, the UNESCO Intergovernmental Hydrological Programme (IHP), as Key Collaborating Partner, will join efforts with the World Water Week 2022 to highlight the importance of groundwater resources for humans and ecosystems and jointly contribute to improve knowledge and capacity to accelerate the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goal 6 on water and sanitation (SDG 6) for a water secure world. Participation for most sessions is foreseen in hybrid mode, both in presence and remotely. You will find respective links in the Programme attached herewith. Tickets and registration are available here: https://www.worldwaterweek.org/tickets.
