On September 22, 2026, UNESCO family in Slovenia celebrated for the 4th time the Slovenian UNESCO Day 2026 in Ljubljana in the Fužine Castle hosted by the Museum of Arcitecture and Design under the title UNESCO 80 – Future of multilalaterism, knowledge and cooperation. The event was organised by the UNESCO Office of the Slovenian National Commission for UNESCO.
UNESCO Chair on Water-Related Disaster Risk Reduction and its Chairholder Prof. Mikoš Matjaž was selected to contribute to the Round Table discussion on “”How UNESCO should look like in 2035?.
