UNESCO Chair Professor Mikoš was actively involved into the preparation of the INTERPRAEVENT2024 Congress in Vienna, Austria, held from June 10 to June 13, 2024 in the Conference Center Hofburg in Vienna Centre. The congress was organised by the International Research Society INTERPRAEVENT, based in Klagenfurt, Austria – Republic of Slovenia is a member since 1997. Professor Mikoš was member of the Science and Technical Advisory Board (STAB) of INTERPRAEVENT since 1999 and after more than 25 years of service for INTERPRAEVENT he will step down in 2025. He was chairing the scientific committee for two INTERPRAEVENT Congresses: in Riva del Garda in 2004, and in Dornbirn in 2008. He was actively contributing to INTERPRAEVENT congresses for 40 years – ever since his first Interpraevent Congress in 1984 in Villach (Beljak).
