The First Regional Meeting of the UNESCO science-related chairs and centres for SEE and the Mediterranean is taking place from 26 – 28 October 2022 at the UNESCO Regional Bureau for Science and Culture in Europe, Venice, Italy. Dr Mikoš is attending the event. The meeting will help to recognize the main action areas of the participating chairs and centres; interdisciplinary and intersectoral approach; national, regional and international challenges; and finally pathways and opportunities regarding the regional UNESCO chairs and centres. The event is closing by adopting the Declaration from the Science UNESCO Chairs and Centres of South-East Europe and the Mediterranean.
