The inaugural meeting of the International Sediment Initiative (ISI) Advisory Board under IHP-IX Program took place on 23 and 24 April 2024 in Paris, France. The meeting served as a platform to discuss and finalize the new ISI strategy and its work plan for the implementation of the new ISI strategy during the IXth phase of IHP.
The 2nd International Sediment Initiative (ISI) Advisory Board Meeting was held on September 24, 2024 in Beijing, China.The meeting focused on the official nomination of the ISI Advisory Board and further discussion and implementation of the work plan.
The 2nd ISI Advisory Board Working Meeting was organized on the 40th Anniversary of the International Research and Training Centre on Erosion and Sedimentation (IRTCES) along with International Symposium on Sediment and Soil Erosion.
Dr. Mikoš was officially nominated to a Member of the ISI Advisory Board, where he will serve as a Regional Coordinator for Group II: Eastern Europe States, and a Co-Lead for Thematic Priority 2: Sediment-related hazards management. Dr. Mikoš presented a short progress report and proposed some future activities: Group II: Eastern Europe & Key Priority 2.
